Mustard Seed Farm and Lyric Morris Latchaw, another farmer in Norwood, offer a CSA program grown cooperatively.
Community Supported Agriculture is a relationship between a farm and community members. CSA members pay within a suggested price range for 23 weeks of produce from June through November. Each week's bag of produce will contain a diversity of seasonal crops (6 - 10 items), an assortment of greens, root crops, summer vegetables, herbs, (and occasional gourmet mushrooms!) which feeds two to four adults for a week, depending on cooking habits. Pick up is Friday 4:30- 6:30 in Norwood.
We are committed to producing good food for all, regardless of income. Letting members pay what they can for the same share is one way we do that. We trust you, the member, to self-select what you can pay for the CSA share. Some pay more allowing others to pay less which means the farm can continue running while getting food to the widest membership. We're still accepting new memberships through the growing season! You can pay for a prorated share for the remaining weeks.
